Returns & Refunds policy

As we deal with perishable food items, our refund and cancellation policy is limited and clearly defined below.

1. Order Cancellation

Before Order Processing

Orders may be cancelled only if:

  • The cancellation request is made within 5 minutes of placing the order.

  • Order processing or dispatch has not started.

  • Payment has not been settled.

Once processing or packing has begun, cancellation will not be possible.

After Dispatch

After the order has been dispatched, cancellation is not allowed.

2. Refund Eligibility

As we supply perishable food products, refunds will be provided only in the following case:

Food Quality Issue

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The product is spoiled or stale upon delivery.

  • There is a genuine quality issue.

  • The taste is significantly abnormal due to a production defect.

Important:

  • Refund requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Photographic or video evidence may be required.

  • The product must not be fully consumed.

Our team will review the issue and decide on refund approval.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will NOT be provided for:

  • Personal taste preferences (e.g., “too salty,” “too spicy,” etc.)

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Incorrect delivery address provided by customer.

  • Delivery delays caused by courier services.

  • Damage due to improper storage after delivery.

  • Complaints raised after 24 hours of delivery.

  • Products that are mostly or fully consumed.

4. Refund Process & Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • UPI / Wallets: 1-3 business days

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days

  • Net Banking: 5-7 business days

Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank. BanaRoots Food Products is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide your Order ID and a clear explanation of the issue.

  3. Share photos/videos (if required).

Our team will review your request and respond within 24-48 hours.

There is no return policy.
